Cleansing and Smudging your aura

Smudging a space is a way to energetically lift vibrations particularly in your home and workspace. Smudging is an excellent way to cleanse your tools as well as your own personal aura fields of awareness. As the smoke ascends, our wishes and intentions rise and mingle into the universe, connecting heaven, earth and humanity.

Burning white sage is an age old ritual known as smudging and it can be used to cleanse you and your home of negative and stagnant energy.

Before you set out to lift the vibrations in your home, intend and make sure what you want out of the exercise happens. Visit all rooms in your home and open all doors and windows promptly making sure the natural energies sweep in to help you clear. You can also clap in all four corners of the house as well making sure there is NO negativity left in your space gathered in the corners.

You can also make sure that by the power of sound, wind chimes or bells, to lift the vibrations up thoroughly yet again. This is all part of sound healing.

Put on soft music in the background, whether its meditation music or something to make you feel comfy.

Light your incense, making sure you hold the incense stick at the right end, (not the end you are lighting lest you burn yourself), intend that this incense purifies and detoxes any negativity in the space of your home, room, space of work, and clears away any tool in your space, sweeping away old vibrations as well so as to allow the natural energies in and clearing the away the old.

Waft your incense over your body as well making sure you clear your aura and see the heaviness shift out of your awareness as well, making sure you let go of all guiding energy that does not serve you purpose, any old feelings or vibrational energy that does not belong in your aura.

When finished, place the incense back in its holder, and go around sealing doors and windows with love - pink light - to make sure that no harm will come unto you through the doors and windows.
